Ascend are crowned Commercial Broker of The Year at The National Insurance Awards 2022
The first awards of the year and a major event in the insurance sector, aiming to highlight and honour innovation and achievement.
We competed against and fought off some worldwide nationals and we are delighted to have been awarded this award in front of 450 attendees at The Marriott on 9th March 2022.
According to the judges, we were awarded the title due to our focus on providing innovative added-value benefits to our customers, along with a service-based culture combined with organic growth.
Managing Director Matthew Collins said: “I’m always proud when what we do is recognised, but for us The Commercial Broker of The Year is the accolade all our peers want to win. To have won this against some stiff competition is a fantastic result!”

The win is the 7th to be added to the Ascend trophy cabinet but is the biggest in size and stature to date.
“It’s great to be able to say that we deliver an award-winning product and service. To have told our story and achieved this in less than 5 years from our inception” says Matthew. “We know that what we do really works for businesses and now we know the industry knows it, too.”
